Patanjali Parivahan
FMCG · FTL Distribution · Pan-India · remote plant locations
Product · WebXpress TMS + Freight Auction + Control Tower
The challenge
What needed to change
Patanjali Parivahan manages transportation for the Patanjali group’s pan-India FMCG distribution — running more than 1,000 FTL movements every single day from remote plant locations across the country.
The operation combines two distinct sourcing streams — ~300 vehicles a day procured through real-time auction across an external vendor base, plus ~1,200 own-fleet vehicles placed directly. Both streams need to share a single platform with consistent rate management, dispatch, in-transit visibility, and SAP-grade settlement.
Order flow originates inside the Patanjali parent companies — Patanjali Foods and Patanjali Ayurved — both of which run on SAP ERP. Manual touch-points between SAP and transportation were the original constraint to scale.
The solution
What WebXpress deployed
WebXpress was deployed as the unified TMS managing all 1,000+ daily FTL movements — combining the Freight Auction Engine for ~300 daily vendor-sourced placements with own-fleet vehicle placement for ~1,200 daily movements in a single workflow.
A real-time Control Tower connects multiple GPS partners across the fleet, giving Patanjali Parivahan a single live view of every vehicle in motion regardless of GPS provider.
WebXpress integrates directly with the SAP ERP systems of both parent companies — Patanjali Foods and Patanjali Ayurved — to receive orders. Order intake is automated from SAP into WebXpress, and dispatch + cost data flows back for vendor payments and financial reconciliation.
