The challenge
What needed to change
DTDC Express operates one of India’s largest domestic express and courier networks. The operation runs on a deep technology stack — a courier system handling consignment lifecycle, a franchisee system managing the partner network, and SAP ERP for finance and master data.
The challenge was to slot a transportation management capability into this existing stack without disrupting it — handling the core road transportation network that moves shipments between hubs and out for last-mile delivery, while integrating cleanly with the courier system, franchisee system, and SAP ERP.
Across the network, more than 3,400 vehicles operate across first, middle, and last mile every day. Visibility across that fleet was the second big requirement.

What WebXpress deployed
WebXpress is part of DTDC’s overall technology stack, deployed to manage the core road transportation network.
WebXpress integrates with DTDC’s courier system for consignment data, with the franchisee system for partner operations, and with SAP ERP for finance, master data, billing, and collections.
A WebXpress Control Tower has been deployed to give DTDC live visibility across more than 3,400 vehicles spanning first-mile pickup, middle-mile line-haul, and last-mile delivery.
